Bolt calls the comments "rather strong."
Of course, if was back in mid July that Bolt himself confidently pronounced: "It's time we accepted the difficult truth: many of the Muslims we invite to live in Australia want to destroy us."
"Many Muslims", he says. How many exactly? 20? 100? The Muslim population of Australia is around 300,000. Surely "many" means more than half. No doubt Bolt interviewed many Muslims before the writing of his column.

A standard refrain from people whose only purpose is to avoid serious analysis, lest we actually solve the ills of the world, is to curse a segment of the population which poses an easy target. The Muslims of the 21st Century are the easiest target in this respect. But we are not alone, and it is important to remember that. In many regional parts of Australia, the main enemy is seen to be little Aboriginal kids stealing clothes off clothing lines. Hence harsh mandatory sentencing laws.
What if we interviewed Messianic Christians, or asked Ariel Sharon what he really thought about Palestinians? I know jennifer and she'd be appalled to be 'used' by right-wing groups. Are we saying that certain groups may use and abuse individuals or groups, therefore those people are bankrupt? Hardly.

You were silent about him saying that stuff about Bolt, but not when I mentioned Jennifer.
Why?
I presume that Bolt wouldn't like to be associated with far right groups, though in my view, he's a bigot himself.
Many countries have these types, predictable, knee-jerk, defenders of local 'values.'
Jennifer is a friend, and Bolt is now.
Besides, I can only judge Bolt on his writings, and let's face it, the guy can barely write...
