This graffiti by Jewish extremists in the West Bank town of Hebron is from 2002, though I saw very similar examples of vicious anti-Arab sentiment while visiting in early 2005. The news that Jewish right-wingers are still trying to stop the planned Gaza withdrawal reminds us that the upcoming evacuation is just the beginning of a protracted battle between Messianic settlers and an Israel that should be moving to a truly secular state.
Recently departed former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, commented in the Independent in 2004 that "we would have made more progress against terrorism if we had brought peace to Palestine rather than war in Iraq."

While I've heard Hebron has some of worst anti-arab racism in the West Bank, I find it interesting that anti-arab graffiti I've seen is in English, not in Hebrew. Perhaps because the person who writes it can't speak or write in that language?
Some of the grafitti is in hebrew, some in english; i saw both while there. perhaps the settlers reckon the arabs will understand the english better or will get them 'better' publicity.
