An intriguing interview with New York Times Executive Editor, Bill Keller. He refuses to discuss the ongoing Judith Miller saga but looks at paying for news content and the blogging "threat":
"'I'm confident [Yahoo! and Google] will not be the next generation of press barons,' he said. 'Yahoo! could buy 1,200 journalists tomorrow,' a figure which roughly compares to those employed by the Times. But, he added, 'to them, it's a boutique' business."
He offers an optimistic prediction of newspapers in 20 years. Not sure I share his radiant optimism, but then, he is talking to Business Week.

Here is something I found fun and revealing by the way of another logger. As she is not for the American -Iraqi War and has a loved one in Iraq, I will not name her to protect her from hate filled people.

Actually you're to the right of Hitler and Stalin. You just can't see for the blinders.

Peace to you and yours Nadia. That vids too funny. Tragic too. Most Americans are very ignorant of a lot of things. The geography of the world being one of them.

Great clip. It's from an ABC TV show of last year. Satire lives...
