Humanising the people

Iranian bloggers, both inside and outside the country, discuss President Ahmadinejad and his recent comments about Israel.

Iranian blogger Mr. Behi offers a proverb and some words of advice to the President:

"This is the most wrong speech he could have made in such a sensitive time. That is the result of putting a politically immature fellow in a position that words and even the tone of voice is important when you make a remark."

Just on the Iranian decision to destroy Israel, I was reading some Andrew Bolt I'd missed out on because of exams, and came across this by Hashemi-Rafsanjani, the presidential 'candidate' who lost:

"If a day comes when the world of Islam is duly equipped with the arms Israel has in possession, the strategy of colonialism would face a stalemate because application of an atomic bomb would not leave any thing in Israel but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world . . . Jews shall expect to be once again scattered and wandering around the globe . . .".

Good old Bolt reckons the West should 'deal' with Iran. Should we invade? Or just bomb them?
As ever, Bolt is leading the chickenhawk brigade...from his well-paid Murdoch job.
