- Murdoch's Australian thinks anyone who questions the Howard government's proposed anti-terror laws is "idiotic." Only a propagandist - or groups with a vested political and financial interest - would not question such extreme measures.

No.
Here's a great "News Byte" for y'all...
I think Farr makes a sound point.
Er, no.
Farr is a typical Murdoch hack with major vested interests. Latham's comments about him in his book are insightful. And accurate.
Farr is part of the cosy media/Canberra club and should be treated as such.
I don't agree with you about Farr - from his contributions on Insiders, he strikes me as being a bit of a fence-sitter, but the major point to your objections of Farr is who the hell cares? He's not commenting about politics. He's making an observation about blogs in this country. Are you trying to suggest that the Canberra elite have some interest in creating an illusion of right-wing blogging's comedic prowess? If he wrote a piece about petunias, would you ignore what he said because he's part of the "cosy media/Canberra club"?
Face it, Ant. Left wing bloggers are a humourless bunch. Still, I suppose it's easier to fallaciously disregard Farr's opinion rather than have to admit the (not particularly) unpleasant truth to yourself.
Not your definityion, it runs to dangerously close to fascism. In fact, one can't tell the difference.
