Inter Press Service News Agency:
"After more than 30 years of organising testimonial dinners for right-wing Israeli politicians, handing out checks to Israeli charities, and forming alliances with conservative Jewish leaders and groups, evangelical Christians may finally be getting a chunk of the 'Promised Land'.
"In a move geared toward solving northern Israel's unemployment crisis, increasing tourism to the country, and solidifying relations with U.S. evangelical Christians, the Israeli government has offered 35 acres of land on the shore of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) for development by Christian evangelicals."
The ever-increasing relationship between Israel, the Christian Right and Zionists may seem beneficial in the short-term, but it will inevitably result in tears: vastly different ideologies and radically varying religions. A mutual dislike for Palestinians is common, however.

This is a fairly old story. Running out of things to say?
Regardless, 35 acres is a small amount of land and, unlike in many Arab countries, it is not illegal to sell or give land to non-muslims.
Look whatever's good for those Israeli's is good for America and vica versa.
Godamit Israel is the 51st state.
It provides a perpetual reason for the US meddling in the Midddle East.
And now we have a rightwing Christian in the White House - so whaddaya expect.
US forces in Iraq can move into Syria. Meanwhile Israeli forces can move north into Syria and there'll be a big party.
If Muslims got any complaints "bring um on" before the Iranians get the Bomb.
Kinda like World War Three.
Just as America meddles in the affairs of Canada, Mexico, and other countries of interest to its citizens.
But it is not the 51st state.
The relationship is rather uneasy but better that than a relationship with a religious group that praeches cutting Jewish throats.
At least with the Christians, there's a chance the horse might talk.
So all of that is least likely to occur.
And the The Faurisson affair is a term given to an academic controversy in wake of a book by Robert Faurisson, a Holocaust denier. The scandal largely dealt with the inclusion (without permission) of an essay by Noam Chomsky.
Shab, ibraham
how much does AIJAC pay you guys to slum it on Ant's threads? Is it by the hour? Can't be by the word given that the paucity of words is as impressive as the absence of ethics and balance.
Just kidding. True believers don't need payment.
