For more information on this brilliant English graffiti artist (see the two posts below), check out the Guardian's profile and his latest work, a visit to the Palestinian occupied territories. He says:

"The Israeli government is building a wall surrounding the occupied Palestinian territories. It stands three times the height of the Berlin Wall and will eventually run for over 700km - the distance from London to Zurich. The wall is illegal under international law and essentially turns Palestine into the world's largest open prison. It also makes it the ultimate activity holiday destination for graffiti writers."

Banksy's work is always excellent. Love it. And did you follow his museum caper lately? Absolutely priceless.

The words "brilliant", "graffiti", and "artist" should never, ever be used in connection with one another. Does this sanctimonious twat have permission to deface private or public property? No? Off to jail with him then.

Christ, do I hate graffiti.

Ah, source of your blogger pic, now I see it.
Does the guy have permission to "deface" the "security" fence in Israel? Clearly not, and even more reason to deface the obscenity.

He does it all over the place in the UK, best I can tell, which is illegal, despite his wanky little uni-student-level-thinking claims on his site about how property crimes aren't crimes...yawn. What a poseur. How would you like it if some douchebag went spraypainting "subversive" and "transgressive" "art" on your house?

Saw an item about Banksy's work on the wall on Channel 4 here in the UK. You can view the report at

Shab, who asked the citizens of Sydney for permission before erecting ugly fucking Coke signs and huge golden bloody arches? I know which pieces of public art I would rather see.

Antony - the guys at Wooster Collective (dissident street art and culture jamming and stuff) have a good feature on Banksy here:

Wooster often feature his work first - like the museum stunt, which they were all over. Excellent work.
