But I feel it's timely to mention that right now, as we mourn the passing of The Queen of Civil Disobedience, our new draft anti-terror laws are seeking to make it an act of sedition or treason to mount any kind of civil disobedience in relation to the criminal actions our Governament calls its "war on terror".

Hi Jerry. They have passed the same type of law here. It is buried in the "Partiotic Act". BTW - As an Americanism, by and large calling someone a "Queen" is insultive. If directed to a male it is doubly so. I can see by your syntax that you do not mean it in a bad way. Just a friendly warning, in case some American takes the use of that word the wrong way.
