"This government is more terrorist than the Maoists"

The Nepalese government engages in some good old fashioned state terrorism and Radio Free Nepal discusses a country that seems to be regularly ignored by the world media.

AL With respect where do you find this stuff.

"More than three dozens policemen, armed and uniformed, who came in three police vans at midnight forcefully entered the building of Kantipur FM, the most popular private radio station broadcasting in Kathmandu and Eastern region of Nepal, and 'looted' all the equipment necessary to uplink the broadcasting to eastern region"

Yes this is indeed a new and unprecedented definition of "state terrorism".

Watch out insurgents the Nepalese radio burglars may get you!

I love reading about world events...and we aren't going to find that in the mainstream. Global Voices is a wonderful blogging resource.
