But Israel wasn't spying in this instance. It was merely a case of an American doing a favor for a friendly nation while hoping to advance his career.
Additionally, the information he passed on was meant to save lives. Surely you couldn't expect a human being to sit on information that would save innocent lives?
Or are those lives worth less to you because they are Jewish?
He was hoping to advance his career, not that anything he did for the Israelis could actually do that. Such a little man with little thoughts.
And since you don't know what information Pollard passed on, other than it pissed washington off because they planned to use it as bargaining chips, you also lose that arguement.
